Customer Drop-off

The Guysborough Waste Management Facility constructed a customer drop-off/reuse facility for residents to delivery waste to the site. The facility is located just off the scale, and is paved, and sheltered, to make it as clean, and accommodating for our residents as possible. The facility has five (5) large labeled containers that staff request residents to separate their loads into (appropriate container). The reuse facility is a garage attached to the drop-off. Residents are asked to place any reusable items in the reuse center. Others can removed these items if of use to them. If someone is looking for a particular item, staff can keep an eye out for it. The site does not permit the scavenging thorough the large stock piles for liability, and safety reasons.
